Recycling has always been good for the environment. Now it can be good for your community too.

Your local area is taking part in a new scheme that rewards you and your community for recycling more.

It’s simple: the more your area recycles, the more your local council will put into a prize fund. A community group in your area will then win the prize money and use it to create something that the whole community can use. The council will also put 10p in for each household that fills in a survey, telling us what you think about recycling.
